The goals of this project are to:
  • Increase interaction between students with disabilities and their peers
  • Build the skills of ethical citizenship amongst peer mentors and support outcomes from the grades 7–9 Health and Life Skills program and a number of senior high Career and Technologies Studies (CTS) courses.

This project will build on the work of Dr. Erik Carter, author of “Peer Buddy Programs for Successful Secondary School Inclusion,” as shared in the May 29/30, 2013 learning events hosted by the consortia.
